Abans d'entrar en buscar solucions, hi ha un quart pas referent als efectes indesitjables i el conflicte arrel. Es tracta de construir un diagrama  -L'Arbre de la Realitat Actual (ARA)- que tenint com a base el conflicte arrel, expliqui la presència dels efectes indesitjables que hem enunciat a l'inici, mitjançant fletxes que representin les relacions: SI (cua de la fletxa)  ALESHORES (punta de la fletxa).

Antes de entrar en buscar soluciones, hay un cuarto paso referente a los efectos indeseables y el conflicto raíz. Se trata de construir un diagrama -El Árbol de la Realidad Actual (ARA)- que teniendo como base el conflicto raíz, explique la presencia de los efectos indeseables que hemos enunciado al inicio, mediante flechas que representen las relaciones: SI (cola de la flecha)  Entonces (punta de la flecha).

Before starting to find solutions, there is a fourth step relating to undesirable effects ant the root conflict. It consists of building a diagram - The Current Reality Tree (CRT)- that taking the root conflict as a basis, explains the presence of the undesirable effects which we stated at the beginning, through arrows representing the relations: IF (tail of arrow)  THEN (head of arrow).
