Clue: The king punished them for his own selfish reasons. The punishment was execution. It meant that they could never present a threat to the king. He was cruel and very rich.

Per què en el mateix dia hi havia diversos grups de persones fortes, entrenades i grans, acceptant instruccions de persones petites i febles?
Pista: Tots els grups estaven compromesos amb la mateixa activitat. La gent gran s'havia escollit pel seu vigor, la petita pel seu pes lleuger i bon judici.

La peça era un rellotge molt bo. L'home va anar al Pol Nord, on encara que els minuts estiguessin bé, l'agulla de l'hora es podia posar en qualsevol fus horari. En el Pol Nord no hi ha cap hora correcta!

Un home es va emportar un costós objecte en un llarg viatge. Quan va arribar al seu destí va descobrir que l'objecte, encara que funcionava perfectament, no li servia per res. Per què?
Pista:La peça era un rellotge, va anar a un lloc on no existeix l'hora oficial.

Es van posar bolcs de gel sobre el pedestal perquè les cordes de la part inferior de l'estàtua encaixessin entre ells. Després van retirar les cordes. A mida que el gel es desfeia l'estàtua va anar baixant fins descansar amb fermesa sobre la base.

Blocks of ice were placed on the pedestal so that the ropes on the bottom of the statue fitted between them. The ropes were then withdrawn. As the ice melted, the statue was lowered until it lay firmly on the base.
